Strategic Operating System for the Next Chapter of My Life

WHO I AM

I am a 56-year-old married man entering what I consider the next major chapter of my life.

I consider myself fit, intelligent, capable, curious, and able to learn new disciplines. I am not interested in conventional retirement followed by gradual decline. I want the coming years to involve building, learning, experimenting, creating more financial independence, and becoming a more sophisticated capable version of myself.

My wife and I have no children. We co-own a massage center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I am currently rebuilding an online affiliate-marketing practice and exploring how online business can eventually provide meaningful location-independent income.

I own 2.35 acres of undeveloped land in Arizona that is zoned for agriculture. My long-term intention is to establish a homestead there.

I am deeply interested in technology, AI, robotics, homesteading, automation, history, cliodynamics, philosophy, and how emerging technologies can improve human life.

MY NORTH STAR

My objective is not simply to accumulate more money.

I want to maximize:

**Freedom + Financial Independence + Health + Knowledge + Experience + Autonomy + Sophistication.**

By approximately age 65, I want to be able to look backward and conclude that I used these years intelligently.

I want to know that I followed a deliberate blueprint rather than drifting.

I do not want the coming decade to become a blur of repetitive work and passive entertainment.

THE ARIZONA PROJECT

I own approximately 2.35 acres of undeveloped agriculturally zoned land in Arizona. Eventually, I want to establish a solid homestead foundation there.

I am fascinated by how other people design and build homesteads. But my concept could ultimately go beyond a conventional homestead.

I am interested in exploring the intersection of:

**Homesteading + AI + Robotics + Automation + Agriculture + Energy + Self-Reliance + Modern Technology.**

The property could eventually become a technology-enabled living laboratory demonstrating how advanced technology can enhance human independence rather than diminish it.

Potential areas may eventually include:

- smart agriculture;

- robotics;

- automated irrigation;

- sensors;

- AI-assisted property management;

- energy management;

- solar;

- water systems;

- environmental monitoring;

- security;

- automated equipment;

- drones;

- workshops;

- robotic maintenance;

- food production.

PERSONAL REINVENTION

I am deliberately cultivating greater sophistication.

For me, sophistication includes:

- mannerisms;

- communication;

- philosophy;

- art;

- culture;

- social presence;

- intellectual depth;

- restraint;

- discernment;

- personal presentation.

I believe elements of sophisticated conduct have disappearing from modern culture. I want to lead by example rather than merely complain about cultural decline by capturing the essence and sharing it.

- etiquette;

- intellectual traditions;

- science.

But sophistication must never become pretentiousness.

The objective is substance, curiosity, competence, composure, and discernment.

MY STRENGTHS

Some of my strongest capabilities include:

**Leadership**

I am comfortable taking responsibility and directing people.

**Instruction**

I am capable of teaching others.

**Physical presentation**

I am comfortable presenting and communicating in person.

When evaluating opportunities, identify situations where these strengths create an unfair advantage.

**Efficiency**

I love keeping cost down while maximizing output. Keeping projects in order by simply being efficient with no waste if possible.

MY KNOWN WEAKNESS

Overdelivering for fractured employers.

I sometimes provide more value, effort, or commitment than I am appropriately compensated for.  I recognize this and will no longer for broken companies or businesses that can't get their house in order. This is why I only subcontract now.
